Marcus was born in Sweden and raised on the small island of Bequia in St.Vincent and the Grenadines. He grew up on the sandy beaches while his family ran five-star accommodations and restaurants. Marcus’s mother is a well-established chef and taught him all he knows. He began cooking in their restaurants at the early age of 10 when he recognized his true passion for the culinary field. After traveling the world to work and study, he met his wife and Creekside Villa co-owner Carolyn while she was vacationing in Bequia. Carolyn’s passion for wine and hospitality along with Marcus’s stellar passion for food has created Canmore’s newest style of eating!
